Episode #1
Belive is a digital music company although its projects today have much more scope than just that. It was created in 2005, it expanded to Europe in 2007 and its big leap was in 2015 when it bought TuneCore.
Belive focuses on serving artists and record labels to develop their careers in new forms of business in the music industry. Somehow they have room for everyone because they understand that each artist and each niche is different. In fact, they work a lot with local and independent artists as well.
After buying Tunecore, only more successes came and they created a number of companies such as:
-Backstage that is dedicated to monitoring the reproductions of artists to correctly charge digital platforms
-Belive Digital Studios which is a producer of video clips with a price for all markets, but ensuring high quality
- Data Music is a company that analyzes target users through statistics to correctly segment the audience of each artist and optimize their career.
- Nuclear Blast buying emerging record labels. He has bought stamps in Germany, France among others which he sees incredible potential, but lack of vision in the new forms of the industry.
Believe in 2021 switched to the big leagues. It has just gone public, that is, it entered the stock market for people to buy shares of the company. This plan declares that a private company will sell shares to the public and will have more people in its governance. That has only one purpose: to raise money for something.
Your I.P.O. (It is an initial planning document, for its acronym in English Initial Public Offering) they establish a collection goal of 2.4 billion of which they have already raised 600 million.
In your IPO, 4 purposes are established to achieve with the money that is collected:
1. Boost your artists' talents
2. Increase its technological capacity for new digital projects,
3. Funds to buy more companies that have a lot of potential,
4. Create a team that finances projects.
Good luck Denis, its founder and president, dreamy lawyer!
There are currently 1,500 employees at Belive in 44 countries.
